PARALLEL SCREEN SYSTEM

Screen systems keep getting bigger due to the ever-growing size of greenhouses nowadays. Especially with the cultivation of vegetables large screens are required. The parallel drive system meets the demand of being able to operate screens with the surface area as large as 10 acres, with a length up to 300 metres without overhang with just a single motor.
The screen is operated by just one electric motor that is mechanically connected with the parallel gearboxes to operate the screen system. This mechanical connection guarantees a 100% synchronous operation of the coupling tube.
Nevertheless the screen is capable to be retracted within ten minutes, if the adequate drive motor and gearboxes are selected.
